Hitaplatti úr eik eða marmara með lögun hreindýramosa einangrar líka vel. Hann passar undir kaffikönnur, potta og pönnur. Hægt að raða nokkrum saman undir stærri hluti eins og eldföst mót. Hitaplattarnir eru partur af hönnunarlínu sem nefnd er eftir eldfjallinu Grábrók.
