Steinplattar flögubergi eru tilvaldir til að bera á borð forrétti, eftirrétti, osta eða tapas. Salöt, sörur, sushi, þeyttur rjómi og ís haldast lengur fersk ef plattarnir eru frystir í 1-2 tíma fyrir notkun. Eins má hita plattana og nota undir sósuskálina til að halda henni heitri lengur.  Korkurinn undir plattanum ver borðið fyrir rispum, hita eða kulda.

Plattarnir fást í fimm stærðum sem eru ólíkar að lögun. Þeir eru ásamt korkinum 1.5 cm þykkir. Þessi stærð er 15.9x11 cm og rúmlega 355 g að þyngd. Plattarnir eru þveiginr með sápu og uppþvottabursta undir rennandi vatni. Þá má ekki leggja í bleyti eða þvo í uppþvottavél. Plattarnir tilheyra Björg í Bú hönnunarlínunni.

 (EN) The slate plates are perfect for starters, deserts, cheese or tapas. They can keep the food chilled for a while if they are put in the freezer for couple of hours before use. The plates can be heated as well and used under the gravy boat. The cork underneath protects the table from scratches, heat and cold.

They are available in five different sizes and shapes. Along with the cork they are 1.5 cm thick. The size of this one is 15.9x11 cm and the weight a little over 355 grams. Cleaned with soapy brush under a running water. Do not soak them or wash in a dishwasher. The posters are part of Keeping one’s Moorings series.
